my name is celie and i’m a wedding & portrait photographer.

I am also a sister & daughter, a friend, an amateur cook, and a big ole people person. I am passionate about storytelling & the pursuit of dreams, and I believe that all of life is worth noticing & remembering.

Weddings are all at once tender, messy, moving, and hilariously unexpected- that’s why I love them so much. I welcome the weird & fun as much as the sweet & sentimental, but what inspires me most is real people, really in love, wanting their day to reflect who they are & what they’re all about. To me, weddings parallel the human experience itself: moments of joy and chaos, quiet pauses and belly laughs, smiles that breakthrough between tears- all intertwined in such a way that something beautiful and extraordinary is produced. My hope is to artfully document your day just as it unfolds and just as you’ll remember it.

I feel so deeply humbled and so deeply grateful that I get to call this “work.” It makes me smile to even think about, it is truly a dream & a gift. I’d be delighted to work with you.
